This is a good topic, as just about everyone with a single hit has been given some compilation. It used to be a rite of passage.

Seeing CeCe Peniston have a greatest hits compilation in Best Buy really pissed me off because (1) I can't stand her, and (2) I thought her "hits" could fit on a 45.

remember some artists have hits on other charts besides the top 100 pop. CeCe racked up quite a few on the dance charts alone. wink

Ah, but as you can see, that's not a 'Greatest Hits' compilation. It's a 'Best Of' compilation. Ain't nobody sayin' anything about hits lol
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

2 more are:

Angie Stone's greatest hits, she only had two albums before it was released.

&

Rick James has tons of greatest hits that all have the same f___ing songs on them, but some of his full length albums are out of print. Go figure.

I love the Amazon consumers comments

If you decide to buy this CD, wait patiently by the mail box till it arrives. Upon arrival, quickly open the box, then pull the security tape from the jewel case. Open the jewel case and place the CD in one hand. Break the CD in half, then slit your wrists with the remaining shards. As you begin to die look at your reflection in the mirror-like surface of the broken CD, and ask your self what you were thinking when you ordered this CD!"

I've seen that as well. disbelief WTF has he ever done to get a best of/greatest hits album?!? The only real hits Aaron ever had was when he has THAT fight with his brother Nick during the only season of The House Of Carters!!! lol

Even though I like the guy's music (Most of it, excluding "THE WHOLE" of Encore.), I thought it was too early for Eminem to have a "Greatest Hits Album". Even though it was called Curtain Call and was meant as a Compilation of sorts (Which is what I thought "ALL" Greatest Hits Albums were called.). He could have used one more "GOOD" album in place of Encore before that occurred.
