Amos Lee

Is anyone else diggin' Amos Lee?

Of all places, I think I got the name from Sheila E. while watching the Next Great American Band - or at least I think I did.

I have been listening to this guy for a week now and am really liking it - soulful folk music. I haven't found someone new that I really like for a while - so I'm excited about it.

Anyone else listening to him?

Ouch. Nice left-handed compliment.

I guess there is something about the simplicity of it that I like - plus I really like the tone of his voice.

Hey, I like Prince. I grew up liking somebody everyone else thought I was crazy to like! (I grew up in SW Virginia).

Yes and I've seen him live a few times. Great band! Very down home rootsy vibe.
I played his debut more than Prince's last 3 outings. That's saying alot.
