It wasn't like I had a choice, some dude was playing it in the locker room while i was changing for track. I think her music (of most of todays music) sucks, but I'm not going to change in front of people on school grounds outside in this cold ass weather while it's snowing lol

To be Bboy and Littleblue....

It was one of my best friends lol I'm out-numbered tho. Since we're seniors me him and our 2 other of our best friends can get out a little earlier so we go change before all the other kids come in and blast the rap & hip-hop on the radio confused so he usually hooks up his MP3 player and he likes the other side of todays music that teens listen to that sucks (that pop rock shit where all the lead singers sound the same and boring power chord progressions, techno....hell to cascada!!!, and timberfake and crappy pop etc). I cant win mad

More power to her I say. There aren't alot of artists touring at the moment that would interest young children. Parents see her as an innocent, wholesome, good influence on their children and she's the only touring act they are willing to let their children go see. See may not lay down hard funk riffs or have a 30 piece brass band or whateve it is that makes an artist any good to you guys. But she's entertaining people. She's making kids interested in music. I love her for that. I'm glad she's the biggest artist in the US at the moment.

This has always happened. From Shirley Temple to Ricky Nelson to the Osmonds and the Jackson 5, the Partridge Family, New Edition, The New Kids On The Block, N'Sync, Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, I mean, this is nothing new.

Think of Hannah Montana as Shirley Temple if she could emulate Janet Jackson and generate multiple streams of revenue from cable and the internet.

LOL. Iam 22 and I watch her show sometimes. It beats shit like "everybody loves raymond" or whatever crap is on. For what its worth, its not half as bad as it should be. Its idiotic, but it makes me laugh sometimes.

That title song sounds like Kenny loggins "nobody's fool" LOL. On a related note, I swear I saw Robbie Nevil's name crop on on the credits to one of the songs. Glad to see he is still in the game LOL.

Yeah really, kids should still be learning real music, like "Farmer In The Dell" and "Old McDonald."

I'm no fan but it's just... not FOR me. I don't really care one way or the other how popular it is or what other tween-pop acts of the day are superior.

Possibly better than the Bratz going on tour and speading hoochie-ism to 8 year olds.

Agreed. It was awful. But I can't vouch for your Hannah Montana recommendation. lol I've never seen it, and don't anticipate that changing.

To be honest, I would much rather have my young kids listening and watching Hannah Montana than if they preferred hip/hop, rap music or some rock that's out there today (ie Nickelback, Sum 41).

There's nothing wrong with Hannah for those that are young tweens or teens.
