this last year i discovered these 2 artists(i discovered gill throught his very forum-when some cat posted "lady day'-my thanks)

i had one of those moments where i couldnt believe i or rather the music world in general had slept on these cats

talent should ALWAYS out!

i was googling gill scott heron-i was always aware of gill scott but didnt realy know his music and i was amazed that this genius has had almost no top 40 entries(am i right just one or 2 minors??)

this mans work needs to be heard!

and as for donny.....that voice confuses the atheist in me!

such heartbreak and beauty

any more recomdations for those whom are slept on??

which other musical greats are roundly ignored which need to be heard in your opinion?
