One day before Grammy Nominations and Critic JIM FARBER shows how big an ass he really is I think Burt Reyonolds said it best back in the late 80s about Critics, "Those who CANT, teach and those who cant do either, review"
That pretty much sums this NY critic up, easily the biggest moron in history, Jim jumps on every bandwagon possible, mainly because thats what critics do, they praise your first record try to get you fame, and then expect favors from you after that, then when they dont get it, they thrash everything else you do. Well with the Grammy Nominees being announced tomorrow, JIM of course has to get his picks to be mentioned and of course talk about the most overused word "GROUNDBREAKING" yet another word that needs to be fucking retired. Well JIM starts out by saying the Grammys might play it safe and nominate Bruce or McCartney, though they delivered their best work in awhile, it wasnt anything "Groundbreaking", is he kidding me at this point, Groundbreaking, no one is breaking ground anymore, everything has its source, even the shit he was praising like Amy Whinehouse isnt Groundbreaking, i can hear her and think, hmmm didnt Fiona Apple do this a decade ago, i mean come on Jim. Jim is the biggest follower, as soon as something "different" catches on he jumps on that bandwagon like a crackhead looking for crack. To me if the Grammys wanted to be SAFE they would be like the AMA show and just nominate what sells now, but would we really want 2 shows like that? If the Grammys wanted to be "radical" to me they should put the damn ROCK FEMALE category back, if you search there were Rock Females putting out records this year, (Ann Wilson and Melissa Etheridge too name 2), also nominate more "uncommercial" rap music, if i see 50 cent and Ludacris again im going to be sick. Just a quick note, insiders are saying these are the artists getting alot of talk for album of the year. Paul McCartney,Bruce Springsteen,Kanye West,Common,Norah Jones,Amy Whinehouse,Joni Mitchell to name a few. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

My buddy from HQ and I were talking about him and his reviews on Prince and he's done the exact same thing. Praised him to death in the 80's-early 90's, then the name change and he ripped him to shreds. Then when PE came out, he was back to praising him. He's a mess. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

He's a mess. yeah i know i just thought he would change with his old age but he hasnt, he's gotten worse. I remember when Prince "chaos and disorder" came out, and he trashed it, said Prince was done etc..gave it a zero or half a star, and then 5 months later gave "Emancipation" five stars and praised Prince for his WB move and artist rights etc... Another favorite of his is Bon Jovi, not that Bon Jovi has really ever gotten good "critical" reviews, but i never forget when Jim reviewed "keep the faith" and this was their first 90's cd, and Jon had cut his hair, Jim spent the whole review discussing "hair bands" the 80's and personal shots at Jon for still being around. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Man you have got to get out of my head! The Chaos & Disorder review is what my friend and I were saying along with the Bon Jovi thing! He's terrible and I don't pay him any mind anymore. That's really fucking offensive. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

That's really fucking offensive. Well tell Burt Reynolds, its actually "Those who CAN teach, those Who CANT do either, Review" "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
