I have told others on here it is very different in production to "chain" and especially "moon in scorpio" and "connected". Its strictly rnb/pop, and nothing else. No acoustic songs, country songs whatever..... I get the feeling the guys themselves wouldn't want to talk about that album anymore. I got stacks of dated shit in my collection, and evon ranks pretty high production wise. I can see why you hate on it. Maybe I should give it another shot.

Might be an idea to turn your treble down though. I love it as harsh as possible, so I turn it up, but Iam in the vast minority as I like that digital, harsh sound. Do you have the new one ("super sol nova"). I still think its a HUGE step up from "connected". Iam still amazed how good it turned out, considering the sort of indie label the record is on. Amazing album in places.

I find that a lot of times you kinda had to be there and trying to go back can be hard sometimes considering how much production values have changed over the years. I tried visiting the Joi's Pendulum Vibe last year and really couldn't get into it the way I thought I'd be able to considering how much I love her and how glowing the reviews were for an album. Case of guess you had to be there 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
