When the masses are allowed to vote, you get what you get. Like it or not Green Day is the Number 1 Grammy act.
N really, what did ya'll expect? shiny moments of brilliance and artistry?? This show was nothing more than something boost ratings during December. Edited and Butchered beyond compare. CBS did its job though. sheep. [Edited 11/30/07 23:27pm] The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

I think Whitney should've been in there twice. She opened the show in 1989 with "One Moment In Time" and got a standing ovation.
Also Mariah singing "Vison Of Love" should've made it. And do you remember "Mandinka" by Sinead O'Connor? These are performance that I remember at least.

Did anyone notice how the top performances were from people that kiss the academy's ass? I would think that MJ, Aretha, or P would have made the top spot. Besides...how can you have a top Grammy performace show without Janet's "What Have U Done 4 Me lately" performance? **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
