Brings back memories of '45s and '78s

Ray Parker Jr. is a badass on guitar. Lee Ritenour gave him props in an early '90s guitar mag interview, where he recalled Ray Parker laying down some funky, creative parts on some sessions they both played on. He lamented the fact that they were for some "horrible Barry White disco records."

He could've left that part out...

This song is really nostalgic for me. My fam had it on a K-Tel cassette that got a lot of cranks in the car deck. It's the first cassette I really remember.
