First Headbanger Concert What was your very first rock concert and what age were you ?
I was 16 years old and went to Casper,Wyoming(of all places) and saw "Fastway", "Saxon" and "Iron Maiden". I was so high and a lil drunk, but had one hell of a good time at that concert! Long Live Rock n Roll PEACE.....It does not mean 2 be in a place where there is no noise, trouble,or hardwork. It means 2 be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart !

KISS on the DYNASTY tour back in 79. (The Hampton Coliseum in Hampton Virginia).
Had nosebleed seats and needed 2 pairs of binoculars but it was great. Being a little kid and seeing these "rock superheroes" was mindblowing.

Maybe Lollapalooza 1992 with Ministry in Scranton, PA. The mosh pit when they played "Supernaut" was no joke. I couldn't help myself.

Ratt came to my little town in the fall of '84. It was unbelievable because they were getting to be a huge act, yet they were playing in our 3,000 seat armory
opening act: Mama's Boys

Scranton,PA Cool I live an hour from there !!! In a lil ass town called Lakewood. No Lake just lots of woods ! I live in New York City, but the Lollapalooza shows there that year were already sold out so my cousins and I drove to Scranton instead. The stage was on top of some mountain which was a three mile walk from the parking lot. And the line for the bus to take you from the lot to the stage must have been a mile long so we footed it.

Mine was Judas Priest and Iron Maiden in 1980. I wouldn't be caught dead at a concert like this today though

Dee Snider has said TS was a force to be reckoned with in its heyday, and I'm inclined to believe him Powerslave tour....Lucky you. My whole circle of friends was really into Maiden then. good times

Saturday, August 15th, 1992--I remember the day was overcast/rainy and I left the headlights on in the parking lot so we had to wait until everyone else left before security came to jump start my car battery.
