James Brown, Michael Jackson AND Prince!

First JB asks MJ to come on and do his thang and then he gets Prince up and he does a guitar solo and takes his shirt off

Does anyone know what this was for?

it was just a james brown performance, where Prince and MJ was in attendance like you said james asked mj up then mj asked james to let prince up.

IMO mj just wanted to out do Prince why else would he ask james to call prince on stage.

Yes that is what many people beleive, look at mj just before James asks Prince up Mj whispers in james ear and then james shouts out for prince.

After all said and done its got nothing to do with Prince it was a James Brown Performance therefore Prince cant claim Copyright Infringement.

Maybe, MJ didn't think JB knew Prince was there and wanted to acknowledge his presence. Not everone loves' to hog the spotlight and be selfish.
