It depends on what you consider singing. She whispers, breathes and talks her way through most of her songs. Compared to Britney and Madonna, yes she can sing. Chaka Khan is my favorite female singer so maybe she spoiled me I don't think Kylie is horrible, quite the opposite, she's an infectious and completely fun artist. But really, she is not a great singer.

And Chaka Khan singing any Kylie song would be fucking HORRIBLE. It's all about appropriateness of material.

She just isn't. Is she awful? No. I have come to really enjoy her music. I've never seen her live but the youtube clips aren't blowing me away either.
