PrintableNo-one loves melody more than I do, and I have to say I feel the same way as paisleypark4. I never liked this song. For me it's nowhere near other Paul compositions like "Here, There, and Everywhere" or "Let It Be". Wasn't this song possibly the first number one single to (accidentally) feature the F-Word???
At 2:58 there is a fluffed backing vocal and you can clearly hear someone (Lennon?) say "Aw, f@ckin' hell!" I listen out for it every time I hear it on the radio. | |

i wouldn't go so far as to say it's one of my FAVORITE beatles songs, but i like it enough to say i certainly wouldn't go so far as to echo pp4's comments on it either. | |
