Krystol I just recently got hipped to an 80's girl group called Krystol. A friend made me a opy of the Gettin Ready cd and I love it! It has a Madame X/The Girls(Andre Cymone's group) kind of vibe to it. Anyone else here know of them?? | |

I'm only familiar with one '86 single by them...
...Passion From A Woman (from the album of the same name). The other notable thing was that the single was produced by Randy "Dawg" Jackson. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I wouldn't even know that if it wasn't for the fact that my neighbor at the time did the Epic Records party during the BRE (Black Radio Exclusive) convention that year. Passion For A Woman got quite a few spins that night. He did a super mix of Alexander O'Neal's Fake (the hot record of the evening). Teena Marie made an appearance but I can't remember what he played by her (something from Emerald City). Randy Jackson's production handles were pretty funny back then. I remember seeing his name listed as Randy "The King" Jackson or Randy "The Emperor" Jackson. (maybe because of the high-top fade?) Who knew he go from royalty to simply, Dawg. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
