I think its both regardless of the person, no performer/artist/musician wants to not make money and have to get a 9-5 job, so in reality they all want to make money so they can at least exist without doing that, and be able to maintain it through their life. Fair enough if you're a musical genius. But if you're a rap artist that plays in a genre (hip-hip) where the average time limit of mainstream success is within 3 career albums tops?!? Even an piss-poor run with underground success is a lot longer if using MySpace & YouTube. | |
