Haven't used CD Universe lately, but when I did they were very reliable.
I've hung with Amazon for the past few years because their depth of selection in the used category. Not necessarily concerned about what i'm generally looking for (older material) being "brand new". "Used in like new condition" works for me and having access to titles for $5 or less is very appealing. A plug for Amazon reseller Caimon who has an amazing catalog. I've purchased so much merchandise from Caimon without incident, that i'll select them even if they're not offering the lowest price. (However, they're always at least one of the lowest 3) tA  Tribal Disorder

I've gotten quite a few items through CDUniverse.com over the years (Zoot Woman, Joan Armatrading, Sparks, The Ordinary Boys, etc.) and they've always delivered efficiently.
They have a good import and reissues collection. | |

They have a very large selection, offer cheap prices and are reliable. I've ordered a whole bunch of stuff from them and there's only been one minor incident and the situation was fixed accordingly. Highly recommended seller 
'importcds' and 'moviemars' are also reliable, affordable and fast. [Edited 11/22/07 23:31pm] It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Damn, I'm getting basically the same deal at CD Universe as I am at Amazon.com. Just about a quarter separating the price. What I wanna know is which will get here faster because a quarter ain't no big difference to just choose the cheapest one, ya feel me.
I don't want to wait a whole extra week just to save a quarter, I want it as soon as possible? PRINCE: Always and Forever

I don't want to wait a whole extra week just to save a quarter, I want it as soon as possible?  I think (i've restrained myself from purchasing for a while) based on your "customer status" , Amazon will upgrade your shipping based on the amount of the order.

Do they have get rid of shipping charges. Some of their prices tend to be better (older stuff...for some reason they don't always get it right with new releases) but if they charge a lot for shipping, that could change things. I'm always searching for stuff there, but never bought anything. | |

How would this work, I ordering two items, one is already available but the other doesn't hit the shelves until Dec, 4. Would they send these out at different times as one is already available or will they send them out at t5he same time (when the other is available?) PRINCE: Always and Forever
