I wasn't loving this album at first, Dark Road and Sing were nice but nothing too extraordinary, but after living with it for awhile, I think this is her best since the Eurythmics days. The one that put it over the top for me is Love Is Blind. As much as I like the synthy stuff she does, when she hunkers down over a good, bluesy live band, it gives me shivers.

i like the album but i find myself having to be in the mood for it.

"bare" may be my favourite album of hers.
