I just got back from the studio. This cd was on full blast and I'm totally blow away by this disk. Soul Spaceship may be the most funky, raw, nasty track I've heard in years. Do yourself a favor, PLEASE peep this cd. My goodness.

I'm surprised that more people are not talking about this cd. The promotion seems 2 be lacking. I had track the cd down at the local Best buy. It was burried beneath a bunch of other artist. What a waste.

A friend bought this CD for my B-day cause i ranted and raved that it was the SHYT! He went all over town looking for it and to no AVAIL....Nothing and then they went to Borders and BAM!!!!!1 There it was on full display.....I have the CD and cant stop playing it....WOrth the weight in PLATINUM!!!!!

I really like the bonus track from Japan, A Different Girl(Every night).
This new album is incredible. I've stated this on the other threads as well.
She's touring in the midwest soon and I'm going to try and see her. Never been to one her live shows. And if she plays ALL new material, that's perfectly cool with me.

The whole CD is amazing. Really have to listen multiple times and it will grow on you. Really deserves a good audio system because the instrumentation is sick and there are a lot of nuances and a lot going on.

Soul Spaceship actually reminds of Prince a little bit. It's a great track, and the transition at the end where she goes all Aphex Twin is unbelievable.

Thanks Graycap23..I just picked up the last copy at Best Buy today w/ the bonus track. Next to Lewis Taylor's "Lost" CD, this CD is the other best release of the year.

I just put in my order for the limited edition of this at Amazon. I brought it because I listened to some of the tracks on her Myspace and I was impressed. Meshell has really pushed the limits here and I think when I listen to the record as a whole when it gets to my front door sometime next week, I'm going to be even more moved by it.
