As mentioned you can get the OTHER bonus track A Different Girl Every Night on the Japanese version of the album OR you can buy it for 99cents as a single on the U.S. iTunes

and if you live in the midwest, try to catch out her current lineup next week. i'm going to the shows in chicago and minneapolis and the drummer that she's going to have for those 4 shows might be the best drummer i've ever seen... i'm going to those shows more to see him play as her drummer, than i am to see meshell again... that and black blondie is opening for her in minneapolis.

prince claims to like coco rock. we'll see with him in mpls right now, he'd be missing out if he didn't see her new material live on thursday...

I'm still awed by the CD-- Meshell makes the kind of music that I crave-- music that challenges and mixes many different styles yet is still full of passion-- it never sounds "dry" or "clinical" to me.... I bet Miles would have loved to work with her...

And thanks to "Shirk," I discovered Oumou Sangare, a great singer and songwriter from Mali-- very rare for an African female artist to write her own material about real issues affecting women in Africa... I recommend her 2-CD compilation "Oumou" if you are up for something different-- she has her own liner notes in the booklet too...
