Oh, I see. Since you hate them "ONLY" because they were a popular group that debuted in 2000, I think I'll give a hug.

Nah, I like several artists who have been popular in the 90s and 00s. Linkin Park (along with Limp Bizkit), brought along an annoying brand of rap/rock that I detest. The only artists I have heard who can deftly mix rap and rock and not produce a nauseating result are the Beastie Boys, Faith No More and N.E.R.D. I had a roommate who loved Linkin Park and drove me crazy playing their stuff.

What do you think about the other people I had mentioned on my other posts in this thread like Incubus, Sum 41, and Coldplay?

It's probably better if I don't say anything. lol I can tolerate Incubus, though.

Okay. biggrin I guess a lot of people induce obnoxity and maintain that little element within themselves, eh? Well, I like everyone you mentioned. How about you give me some examples of your broad and ecclectic taste in music and whatnot?

sad I'm not trying to be obnoxious. I just wandered onto this little thread to say that I much prefer 2001 to either 1999 or 2000. I probably shouldn't have said anything about Linkin Park. Sorry for dumping on your thread.

No, I could be obnoxious, myself. That's not a bad thing. A lot of mainstream Rap/Hip-Hop that is being pushed out there induces obnoxity upon my soul. I sincerely wanted to see some of your taste because I am oh-so-sure that we share the same taste in some areas. You're cool with me. Only human, like I.
