Linkin Park (along with Limp Bizkit), brought along an annoying brand of rap/rock that I detest. The only artists I have heard who can deftly mix rap and rock and not produce a nauseating result are the Beastie Boys, Faith No More and N.E.R.D. I had a roommate who loved Linkin Park and drove me crazy playing their stuff. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Well, I like everyone you mentioned. How about you give me some examples of your broad and ecclectic taste in music and whatnot?

I just wandered onto this little thread to say that I much prefer 2001 to either 1999 or 2000. I probably shouldn't have said anything about Linkin Park. Sorry for dumping on your thread. No, I could be obnoxious, myself. That's not a bad thing. A lot of mainstream Rap/Hip-Hop that is being pushed out there induces obnoxity upon my soul. I sincerely wanted to see some of your taste because I am oh-so-sure that we share the same taste in some areas. You're cool with me. Only human, like I.
