thus far, i am lukewarm on the disc. the one thing i have noticed is how bland Stuart's production is....this stuff sounds so 1994....Also, Seal naturally has a tendency to overplay repetitiveness and Stuart's production doesnt help. With that beind said, Seal's songwriting is strong enough to that to pull me in (something that Madonna's Confession's didn't do). I wouldn't call this disc a failure but it is easily rated last amongst his collection.

I like it and all but it doesn't have that sublime feel most Seal cds have. Of course I kinda feel that way about some of Seal IV as well. Maybe if the release was kinda half and half (dance/slower tempo) then it might balance out better for me. As it stands, it's kinda one-sided. Not much variance and depth. That said, it's still a great Seal album. Just not in the top area of his catalog. IMO

I honestly can't compare them to this new cd...
4 years is a while,and it's been a while...

I'm enjoying this one.
It's one of the few cd's of 2007,that I don't skip tracks.
