So every album that everyone heard this year other than Planet Earth gets a five star rating. Awesome.

It just seems like "worst" is such a strong word, and implies that the album was BAD! When it might have just been the "least good" If you will, so will I

PapaSmurf said: The only record I've heard and been truly disappointed with is Planet Earth. I suppose Prince was making a statement by creating a record that would ultimately be used as landfill. Hence, the giving away of the cd in the newspaper.

[Edited 11/17/07 20:37pm] Can't speak for the latter 2, but I agree 100% on the Interpol album. I usually at least try to like an album...but I had zero enthusiasm for putting that one on for a second spin. But then, I love the new Band of Horses, so what do I know?

Interpol's album was the first one of theirs I didn't buy. I like Turn On The Bright Lights, but hardly ever listen to Antics so I listened to some samples from the new one and didn't like anything I heard.

I'm not a Tori fan by any means, and I've only heard it because my wife likes her. I'm familiar enough with Tori's catalogue to know that ADP is one of her better albums- it's just not something I would want to listen to on my own. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018!
