I love her stuff.
Her record company finally had a greatest hits released in the US. There was one released in Japan in 1995 (probably right after her last album). She was supposed to release a new album this year (I thought). Hopefully it's still happening.

Pebbles was a cool duet partner, but Karyn White shut it down.

I guess the new greatest hits (It might be called "Superwoman: Best Of..." somethign like that) has new songs that were supposed to be on the album taht was supposed to come out LAST year. So I guess she is trying, huh?

I read somewhere that she lives in Sacramento ,California and has an interior design business. I don't know if she still lives in California or not.

I really liked Karen White back in the day. I was listening to Romantic and The Way I Feel About You the other day. We need Karen back REAL BAD. [Edited 11/12/07 17:33pm] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Miss her? She was barely around to begin with, so I'd say "missing her" is probably a vast overstatement of the feeling.
But I did appreciate her in her knock-off Janet Jackson/Paula Abdul way. She had a few tunes that I dug. [Edited 11/13/07 14:46pm] "Half of what I say is meaningless; but I say it so that the other half may reach you." - Kahlil Gibran

[Edited 11/13/07 14:46pm] I'm sorry but she was more talented than the two of them put together, even if she wasn't as popular. Paula or Janet never came with anything as fierce as Superwoman or Love Saw It. No disrespect to them, but their thin voices couldn't handle it.

I loved her first album "Karyn White". Her second album was good but a tad generic. Her 3rd album only contained about 3 good tracks - one of them was her 1994 single "Hungah". I don't really miss her as an artist anymore.
