Britney's Ryan Seacrest interview

You can listen to it here: http://www.kiisfm.com/pag...honer.html

From Perez Hilton:

Ryan Seacrest managed to get Britney Spears on his radio show Wednesday morning. Barely.

It was one hot mess!

Unable to speak in full sentences, Britney’s “interview” was filled with a lot of uncomfortable silences and her friend Alli and svengali/puppet master Osama Lutfi did more talking than Spears.

When Seacrest called at 9:10 a.m., the mother of two was still sleeping. After waking up, she was very groggy and seemed out of it.

How did Britney feel on the eve of her new album being released? “It was cool. It was kind of laid-back really,” she told Seacrest.

How did she celebrate? “I didn’t celebrate. We watched movies. That’s about it,” she said.

On Tuesday, Brit Brit also failed to get back custody of her kids.

What kind of promotion will she do for her new album? “This is it,” Spears said.

How does Britney respond to all the negative attention in the media? “I try not to let it get to me,” she muttered. “You just try to keep doing what you do. As long as you know what’s up, that’s what really matters.”

How often will she see her kids? “I dunno. My lawyers handle all that stuff,” the wonderful mother said.

How does she respond to people that criticize her as a mother? “It’s sad how cruel our world can be,” Britney blurted out, emotionless. “You gotta know in your heart that you’re doing the best you can.”

Is she doing the best she can??? “God yeah!”

Then Britney ended the interview abruptly and Alli chatted for a while with Ryan.

Where did Spears go?

“She went to hop in the shower,” Alli said.

Whats more shocking, Britneys interviews, or the fact that Ryan Searcrest is still employed?

what's sadder - the fact that britney is still a big news draw, or the fact that she makes ryan seacrest look talented and distinguished? sigh

Same old thing they did to Michael Jackson. Take something very normal and call it strange. This is just your regular interview. Nothing strange about it.

Thats it exactly the media needs something easy to go off with, instead of reporting on real news they would rather blow this whole thing up and make it news. Now to make this a better interview Britney should have just said "Hey Ryan why dont you come out already, everyone knows about you already", then hung up the phone, that would have been cool.

Britney Spears is turning into Michael Jackson!

That interview was a bit biased
But not knowing how many times your allowed to visit your kids
disturbs me...
Just makes me think
And heaven help me, for saying this
The kids are better off with Kevin Federline...

But with BRITNEY SPEARS, you'd expect this kind of thing these days. You probably didn't see her interview on NBC Dateline awhile back. Trainwreck of hot mess, I tell ya neutral lol

She and this album are such a sign of the times.

Half of it is totally tuneless production experiments with two chorus ("I Got A Plan", which is mostly terrible male background vamping!). The other half works. I mean, she was seriously held together like some sort of tatered doll in those first 5 or so years of her music career and this shows she doesn't have it together at all. Can't even do a decent interview for this album?

All that being said, the album will sell on the merit of her being infamous. A new day has come...

And as crazy as Whitney is, she has it more together than Britney. Britney's promotion is calling one LA based show but mostly flirting and making a fool of herself in front of paparazzi. As "bad" as Whitney's interview was, at least she went on TV to do that kind of an interview AND later did a full "Good Morning America" appearance. At least Whitney tries to play the game...Britney has changed it into something that is really gross!

I agree with you totally, this is a sign of the times and maybe a wakeup call, but we really shouldnt pin all this on Ms.Spears, she certainly didnt create this Media Hype machine she just used it, but lets not make it like her label is crying over this, they have a product to sell, bottom line, and however it sells so be it. Look Britney did her job, she went in, did 12 songs, gave it to the label, and they put it out, regardless of what i think or you think of the product doesnt matter, and how the label sells it doesnt matter.
