Fatback - King Tim III(LIVE!) Cool clip, I wish some of these concerts from the 60's-70's early 80's R&B/Soul/Funk world were on DVD, I'd buy them all.
http://www.youtube.com/wa...cTP4cvXSP0 King Tim had me crackin up with his rap about WEED at the end, lol!

I can't see the video but King Tim III is one of my favorite Fatback jams ever. They could show these dead asses today how to rap with not only real music, but real funk. Andy is a four letter word.

King Tim III was the first rap song ever on the R&B charts. [Edited 10/30/07 11:32am] It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

[Edited 10/30/07 11:32am] it went on the charts too? Yea It was actually the B-side to 'You're My Candy Sweet' (which went to #67 on the R&B charts). King Tim III reached #26 on the R&B charts. Most people recall 'Rapper's Delight' as the first rap song to ever chart, and it was, on the POP CHARTS. King Tim III beat it by seven days, thus being the first rap song to ever chart and it was the first rap song ever on the R&B charts. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
