Denny's is nasty to me....Waffle House is 20 times better. Yeah, they stay open 24 hours. It's nice to roll up in there or IHOP in the middle of the night when not too many other places are open.

Do black folks still have trouble getting served at Denny's? Never heard of Waffle House, but it sounds just as bad.

My bud is a "healthy eater" (which i'm not) hence his ire with the place.
As far as i'm concerned, if it's late and i'm hungry, any one of those 3 will do. shrug

I'm headed for Florida next week so maybe i'll give you a report on the current state of their waffles. cool

Waffle House is not as bad as Denny's, yet both places are grease heaven.....

To say they are low on the food chain is giving them more credit than deserved.

By the looks of Kid Rock, he is Waffle House material.

Cracker Barrel's cool too. I've only had their dinner.....don't know how their breakfast is. My mom raves about their breakfast & coffee though. I've been to Denny's a couple of times and this was way after that scandal.....so I didn't notice anything funny about them. I didn't really care for the food.....could've been that particular Denny's though.

Last time I was there, I had bacon, a double-helping of scrambled eggs, and pancakes topped with whipped cream and baked sliced apples dipped in cinammon. Plus I finished my little cousin's breakfast. I couldn't move - THAT was a breakfast! If I didn't work out I'd be the fattest MFer alive.

falloff Yeah, if you wanna get full, go there. Whenever I eat from places like that I don't really eat much of anything else for the day. That's one of those eat & take a nap type of places. lol

Waffle House?

Popular food establishment in the South...

...where they're everywhere (and I believe they stay open all night).

My best friend calls it the "Awful House" because of the food quality.
(hmmm Think Denny's)

Waffle House is better than Denny's, IMO.

But Huddle House is better than Waffle House, if you can find a location in the South.
