NIN: The Perfect Drug: The Video

http://www.youtube.com/wa...0s5UOVsMDg

drool

for me personally this is one of the best video's i've ever seen.
sure, it's a bit melo and all but remember it was 1997, long before
the whole emo thing and it helps that the video looks exactly like
75% of my dreams. it breathes that same atmosphere, perhaps that's
why i love it so much.

some of the scenes like trent looking out of the window with the
whippet dog on his lap or the first shot of him on the bear rug,
turning his eyes to the side just make my heart skip.

withouth you, it's not as much fun to pick up the pieces

yeah, is a brilliantly made video..though to be fair, all NIN vids are pretty ace (his twisted fake snuff vid was ace too..forget what song it was..but it made the happiness in slavery video look tame)
Wouldn't you love to love me?

you're right most of the vids are great. i just watched the Closer video
a few times back2back and it's brilliant. there's so many videos & movies
and other groups that were clearly inspired by that style.

absolutely great video....their best but all of them are great, except for "into the void" but even that video is not bad. NIN just simply rocks!

As a person who can honesty say music videos are one of my guilty pleasures, I really wish more of them were as creative and visually intriguing as this drooling
If you will, so will I

I was really really hoping this would have been the direction musically that NIN would have gone in.

Thanks.for.the.heads.up.

Easily, the most beautiful video I've ever seen; Reznor (and Romanek) are fucking geniuses. Is it me, or is the last part (from about the 3 minute point, all the way to the end) sad as all hell? Both musically and visually.

yikes. This is probabbly one of my least fav NIN videos only because it looks too big budget. I'm more of a fan of the low-fi distorted stuff.

I remember seeing this video years ago and being freaked out but loving the song. This video/song is what first turned me on to NIN and whenever I think about them I always remember this song. biggrin

This is one of my favorite videos of all time. Romanek got the goth look down perfectly. Too bad the video is not for a goth song. neutral

Yeah.
It's better than the "Down In It" video.

Sinahmohtahgrowfee.
That's the word I was searching for.

Although, I think Trent's goatee pushed it right off the edge, and that is the actual core of the video's attraction.

beer
Prost!

PS.I apologige for my nasty sarcasm.
I'm totally absorbed in the brand-spankin'-new album by Ween (La Cucaracha).
