Al Green Appreciation Thread He has to be one of my all time favorite male soul singer. Everytime I hear a song from him , I feel relaxed and happy depending on the song. Overall , I just love his voice and music.

The greatest soul singer of all time besides Marvin, Ray, Otis and Sam to me, he's in my Mount Rushmore of "soul giants".
Among my favorite tunes from "The Reverend" include: "Love and Happiness" "Tired of Being Alone" "Let's Stay Together" "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?" "For the Good Times" "Here I Am, Baby (Come and Take Me)" "You Oughta Be With Me" "Belle" "Full of Fire" "L-O-V-E" "Sha-La-La-La" "Call Me" "Simply Beautiful" ...and tons more. LEGEND! Saw him Live this summer with BB King, the man was simply beautiful...so much positive energy, so charming, dressed to the nines and had the crowd in the palm of his hand for the entire show. His daughter was on back-up vocals and she had it goin on as well.
