Klymaxx Song "Wild Girls"

I really like this song. Even though this song came out in 1981 , I remebered it like it was yesterday(I was 10 years old at the time). I found out 3 years ago that Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis had produced the song for them. Cool Song! cool I was wondering does anybody know if this was Klymaxx's debut song and was this the first song that Jam and Lewis produced as a team. Just Curious. smile

Oh yes I love the "snap!" dancing jig I really like the part when she says

I know all the clubs
If u want 2 go
If they're straight or gay
If they're fast or slow

This was actually the second album that J&T worked on. Not alot of info on the first album...although I have the 12" for "Multi Purpose Girls" which was also produced by them.

One time while looking for another Klymaxx song on Limewire, I came across Wild Girls... I said to myself '(wow a cd version)'..Since I had recorded mine straight from the vinyl onto my ipod I wanted to hear the difference...

Low and behold...I play the track and its MY COPY! Same fade out position and everything. And written on the track it's DJ Marks Old School Mix" I was like hell nah...but I was glad 2 share anyway nod

This was not Klymaxx's first hit. The first hit came from the debut album with the same name "Never underestimate the power of a woman". The song "Wildgirls" and "Heartbreaker" came from the second album "Girls Will Be Girls" It is also good info to know that Klymaxx was the first act that jam and lewis worked with after leaving The Time. During this period of time Their were still 8 members of Klymaxx. Then Ms. Ann Williams left just before the release of "Girls in the band" then Juddy left right before the release of Meeting in the ladies Room. And that brings us to the Sexy six that we know of today. biggrin hope this was the info you needed.
