He brought STEVIE WONDER up on stage - goddamn i didnt know Q Tip could throw it down onstage as a real performer, ALONE, like that. He is the shit. All time best MC, HANDS DOWN. if you ever get the chance...go.

I've always been on the fence in regards to Q-Tip, although I saw a prison movie that he was in several years back that I thought was pretty good. I thought he was a good actor.

Hearing your review of his show last night probably tips me over into the FAN catagory now. I can believe the energy you're sharing in your post here speaks well of Q-Tips performance.

then again, i've always been a q-tip fan. he has that distinct voice that when you hear it, you immediately know, it's Q-tip on the mic.

on the ONA from NYC dvd i have, he just kinda says the same line over and over. no to mention he kept saying "ass", which Prince didn't like to much (he says something about Q needs to stop cussing, or something like that)

I caught him with Common a couple of weeks ago and yeah it was pretty tight. Though when Common came on stage you realized Q-Tip was the opening act.

Yeah I saw that clip of Q on stage with Prince..Q blew it. He tried to improvise and kept messing up over and over. Prince finally took the mic and was like "later son".

but I give credit where it's due.. Q is one the coolest MC's to rock the mic.
