I got 4 isley brothers albums for 1 dollar. I got a natalie cole live album. I got the commodores midnight magic. Cameo's feel me. I also got slave the concept for 50 cents. I also got a rare mass production album called in a city groove for a quarter. That is the last good vinyl dig i have been on.
If i get a chance i might join the party this weekend. I would like to find Mass production-3 miles high Raydio Confunkshun-Fever Ebonee Webb, kwik (probably not a chance in hell i will find it) Sun You talking about Papa Jazz in Five Points? I'm from Charleston, SC and graduated from Carolina-- live in ATL now. I'ma have to stop in Cola for a vinyl dig when I roll through.

It's quite different from their later work, but a good album nonetheless. It's worth checking out. The sucker charged me 12 dollars for slave's showtime several years ago before it was available on cd. Never again. Papa Jazz has one of the biggest lp catalogs but good luck with the price. The store i was referring to was manifest which is also in charlotte close to wear i live now. I have family in charleston so i know where to go to get my seafood fix. Didn't they close the manifest store there? Shame on them because that store was nice. [Edited 10/13/07 8:51am] Don't laugh at my funk

Last year I transferred three credit cards at a finance charge in the late 20 percents over to one card at a 5 percent finance charge. Since then I've paid that motherfucker down from $13,000 down to $9,800. Vain Andy ain't looked so vain lately. I've been dressing in rags and my hair has been "normal" which is something I don't do.....ever. I've gained back all the weight I lost because it's cheaper to eat fattening than it is to eat healthy.....and these motherfuckers ain't making things any better with this slow ass music these days. Dammitt, you just don't know how bad I need some ass shakin' music. My vanity depends on it. You know obesity rates soared at the same time funk started to die out?

The one in Charleston is called Monster Music. Still has the same stuff that Manifest has, just new management.

I bought yesterday J Dilla double LP Jay Dee Donuts, O'Jays Back Stabbers and Ohio Players Skin tight, I think I will try to get another Ohio Players album as this one is a bit too mellow, but still good to have.
While I visited one of the sellers' vinyl stand at the Market, we chit chat about Prince of course and he knows the passion I have for his music. He told me that he had a surprise for me and offered me P' double Controversy CD (which is a collector one, it's got a number on it) and the 1999 single. I thought it was so nice and generous of him. What did you get then? "Girly Man Man Man..... Kill her kill her kill her"

I saw two of their albums in the store and decided to give them a try since some of the song titles on one of them sounded like it may be disco-like, which I love. I haven't gotten around to listening to Fat Larry's Band yet. I've been listening to The Commodores, BT Express, Raydio, and Michael Henderson. All of which I've been very pleased with. Right now, I'm listening to Cameo's "Ugly Ego". It's OK, but a little disappointing. Andy is a four letter word.

For years I thought it was by Kleeer on the album in which Rick James had a little input. I got the Kleeer album and it wasn't on it. Then I thought it was The Stone City Band. It just sounds a little Rick Jamesy to me. I love it. I never dreamed it was by War. Andy is a four letter word.
