There are classics that should not be touched!. If you remove the instrumental of Let's dance, Craig David's vocal touch is mediocre.
Music Executives and singers are abusing the constant use of classics (music+lyrics) as they can't have their own styles, reivente themselves as genuine artists and the songwriting is poor.
They re-use musical classics to get sales, they are music w****s, they do it for the money. I feel sorry for the new generation, the music industry want them to be ignorant.
My only advise for youngsters is to dig for music in the 60's, 70's, 80's and some of the 90's today's music is a fraud.
However there are still real talents out there but there are very few of them.

Aww leave Craig alone. That's a terrible song, there are worse out there.

I love Bowie's song, but what they do to it, doesn't bother me. There have been major crimes committed against many classics, this isn't even close.
