Most of the Jackson siblings except for the obvious two look good though. Rebbie is almost 60 and looks amazing for her age. Even Katherine looks good. Most of them are aging very well. Yes, you are right. Asian culture is not one. Finally, a statement I can agree with you in this thread. But, come back to me when you discover that in South Korea, North Korea, China, Japan, Thailand, India, Mongolia, Laos, etc. Janet Jackson is not that big of a deal as you think she is. Perhaps you will find statues and religions devoted to this breast-exposing goddess. Perhaps, you will find, as I think and know you will, most people could not give a shit about her or most of the Jacksons. Again, the Jacksons are not seen as an American embarrassment because most people could care less about them. Again, have a lovely night! | |

This is not subjective. I saw Janet live in 1995. She played three nights at Wembley Arena. Well, Prince sold out nineteen nights at the same venue, so that gives you some idea of the gulf in popularity. Madge sold out Wembley Stadium three nights (which is about 5 or 6 times bigger than the arena). MJ sold out five nights at the stadium. Go and take a look at Janet's sales figures outside the US and compare them with Whitney, Bon Jovi, Guns & Roses, Tina Turner, etc., etc. Growing up it was always strange to me to realise just how intoxicated America seemed with her, because over here it wasn't the same. Hell, Bobby Brown in 1989 was way bigger here than Janet was at any point in her career. That's not a subjective statement. The figures will back me up on that. I'm a lazy bastard by nature so I'm not gonna go hunting for them, but if you want to, you can. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”
