How is this troll tactic? Both you and someone else wrote that I bash Janet Jackson with unprovable statements. I am answering your posts.

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who intentionally posts controversial or contrary messages in an on-line community such as an on-line discussion forum with the intention of baiting users into an argumentative response.

I could write the same thing about you. You implied that I make up my statements on Janet Jackson. You did not even first write this as a response to my post but to someone else's. How is that not baiting me? If you think that Janet Jackson is as iconic as Madonna in Japan, and that Japanese and Koreans follow the lives of the Jacksons, go ahead. Think that. I still stand by my own statements. Stand by yours instead of accusing people of something that you yourself are.

I have to agree with you on the last point. It is disgusting how homophobic both his parents are.

But you don't think that has any bearing at all on his own psychology, right? Remember this is a man who counts Every Gay Man's Best Friend Elizabeth Taylor as his nearest and dearest. Not to mention other gay-friendly associates like Liza Minelli and former compadres like Liberace and Freddie Mercury.
[Edited 10/11/07 9:55am]

How is being friends with these people mean that one is homosexual? While I agree with you that he has had major issues with his sexuality, I cannot make the final judgment that he is homosexual, because I am neither his therapist nor have had personal relations with him, either as a friend or as a lover.

Having that many gay-minded friends cannot be coincidence. Do you know Liberace?

You think that it is an opinion that Janet is not as big as Madonna in Japan? And that East Asians do not follow the lives of the Jacksons?

Fine I will call those statements an opinion. Just an opinion.

I am done answering your posts in this thread. You seem to be a nice and intelligent person when the discussion does not revolve around Janet Jackson. Have a nice day.

Yes.

But until he comes out, or his male adult lovers (if he has them) come out to the public about their relationship, or until his death, when his private papers are opened to the public, I will not make a final judgment.

Absolutely...not

Because honestly that's unfair. You can't judge the PUBLIC actions of 3 or 4 members of a family and judge all but one insane or disfunctional. First of all, you never met them, so you can't judge one way or the other. You can call Marlon "the quiet one", or the least popular, but just judging sanity? Come on. And if this family was so fucked up, how come he haven't heard about one Jackson grandchild on drugs or in jail, or clubbing or doing crazy shit.

You make a good point. We cannot judge ALL the Jacksons insane.

However, I was comparing to him to the most notorious ones (Michael, Janet, Jermaine, LaToya, Randy, Joseph, Katherine). Compared to these individuals, I find him alright.

You seem to put a lot of faith in papers. There is only so much papers can tell you. I know in my own life there is no piece of paper anywhere that could tell you the most important things about me. No way.

Well, if you are right about your encounter with Marlon (and you seem to know a lot about the music business since you are a musician), this dashes the hope that Marlon Jackson is a faithful husband. neutral
