I just downloaded and am burning a CD now . . . I'll listen on my way into work.

I paid 0.00 - and it didn't ask me for any CC info either. I plan on buying the real CD when it comes out (either in December or early 2008).

OK - listened to the entire CD. I like it already, but I will have to give it a proper listen through headphones.

It seems as if they reached their farthest with Kid A - mostly ambient sounds and less song structure. Hail To The Thief kept a lot of the ambient sound but returned to more song structure.

This album hovers nicely between those 2 . . .

downloading it now. i paid 3 pounds for it, because music should never cost more than 7 bucks.

Agreed.

15 Step -- Strangest Radiohead opener ever? Quite possibly. Incredibly catchy.

Bodysnatchers -- Awesomely intense rocker.

Nude -- Laid-back gorgeousness. Yorke's vocal solo at the end is one of the most moving moments ever on a Radiohead album.

Weird Fishes/Arpeggi -- Classic Radiohead. Mystical, full of rich sadness, and an incredible climax after gradual tension building.

All I Need -- A unbelievable groove to this one. Mellow desperation, and then a classic feverish climax.

Faust Arp -- Beautiful, strings-filled ditty. I love it.

Reckoner -- Powerful. Just powerful. Yorke's vocals never sounded more chilling.

House Of Cards -- So laid-back; totally addictive hook.

Jigsaw Falling Into Place -- Flows seamlessly. A perfect set-up for the gentle closer.

Videotape -- Possibly Yorke's most brilliant song ever. So simple, so quietly reflective, so somber, so resonant. An absolutely perfect closing track.

FIVE STAR ALBUM
The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
