all I can say is that... if madonna's albums and music were so great... why was she on this list two times.. and janet jackson had two albums higher then one of Madges.... although Madonna's album like a prayer was higher then TVR and RN.... but still

I dont care about this stupid list because i dont' know almost all those people and I don't care... My list of greatest Alisa Albums... would be very short consisting of MJ.. and a few other artist lol lol lol

Is this your list?

Michael Jackson-Thriller
Michael Jackson-Bad
Janet Jackson-Control
Janet Jackson- 20YO
Britney Spears-Britney
Michael Jackson-History
Michael Jackson-Invincible
Mariah Carey-The emancipation of Mimi
Britney Spears-Oops I dit it again
Cannibal Corpse-The bleeding

falloff

And you gotta realize they pick "great" to mean not just "good" but "influential." So you might think Nirvana's Nevermind is overrated, but it pracically defined what all rock music on the radio sounded like in the 90's.

That's what makes it "great" even if you think the music "sucks" lol

Nice Comeback! highfive

Another rubbish list. I'm surprise they put Marvin Gaye in the top ten considering how obviously bias they are to white, rock/pop music.

Yeah, I've always viewed you as a traditionalist and your opinions on albums to be almost objective if such a thing were possible. If I wanted to know if a classic record is truly good or not, I would seek your opinion first.

further proof that rolling stone magazine has no fucking idea what their talking about....Nirvana in the Top 20????? disbelief disbelief Beatles taking up 40% of the top 10??? fart shake Whatever Rolling Stone, you suck ass and have NO idea what your talking about. Get back to me when you start focusing on music instead of politics, and actually put in YOUR opinions instead of buying into hype and printing what you think people wanna hear.

I don't particularly like lists of any kind, but this list is ok with me. Sure, it may be missing some great albums, but the majority listed here are damn good IMO.

yeah, if you ignore the order, that's a lot of great albums. Tough to argue against that. Of course I'd definitely replace a few if it actually was my record collection. Like say...

She's So Unusual
Abba Definitive Collection
Hotel California
The Velvet Rope

not bad, but I'm sure I could find something that suits my taste better

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Definitely, they've been doing it for years. It's just an update of the same list from 1985, so they can include newer stuff.
