Tina Landon responds to Janet's Oprah Statement On Oprah yesterday Janet told Oprah that she was in a situation like the chracter she plays in "Why Did I Get Married" The situation was that she knew that a friends fiance was cheating and she didn't tell her friend and she lost a really good friend behind it
Tina's response well Normally I would not even attempt to answer this question and you're right it's nobody's business but since she chose to speak on it, YES. I am the 'friend' she spoke of. We obviously have two different perspectives on "friendship". It's interesting to me that she chose to put our parting of ways solely on this matter though. And NO, i won't elaborate.

I don't think she saw the show... it's seems that someone on the message board asked her if she was the freind Janet was referring too and her response was Huh ?? then they told her what Janet said and she came back with that response | |

janet did the right thing. stay out of that business or, at least, wait until an opportune time comes along to mention it. too many times what ends up happening is you tell the friend what's going on, the friend confronts the lover, they fight and make up, and then the friend gets mad at you.
you end up having told the friend what was up and you lose the friend anyway. | |

I told a friend that his girl was cheating and all hell broke loose, couple of weeks later they made up and I was the bad guy. It's really sad that they're no longer friends but shit happens.. i also think it's cool that the other people on her board is not taking sides | |
