See I was thinking Janet at first also. She defenitely has the most dance songs out of the four but I don't know how many of them the average person can dance to. It seems like you'd have to know some type of choreography to dance to a lot of her songs.

Damn. I'm just thinking of Prince's "Let's Work". They are all great and have different styles but I think at a party, most people get moving to Prince the most. They all do....Can't chose.

Well since there is only one real musician on that list we all know who would win don't we? Too easy...but that's neither here nor there really. When I go to a party or just want to hear good dance music I couldn't care less who wrote or played what.

Well, a musician is someone who creates music. So both Prince and Michael Jackson are popular musicians. The difference between them, of course, is that the former is a talented instrumentalist, and the latter is not.

Both have written fantastic dance songs.

I'd have to agree. Prince doesn't go for the dance track anymore...it's not his focus as it is Madonna's. I would place both above Janet simply for the sheer volume of Dance music under their belts. I would place MJ at the bottom not for quality, but for quantity.

It's all relative actually. Just depends on what you like. I know Madge has the most top dance singles...all of them pretty much go number one or go in the top 5.

Song writing it has to be Prince

The others had too many hits written for them.

Lol, once again who cares who wrote what? I asked who has the best dance songs so who wrote the song really isn't even relevant.

It seems like Janet and Madge winnning are though...can't say i'm too suprised. They've both made great dance songs over the years.

Interesting. I care because the songs that from Madonna, Janet and Mike were not even written by them. In my book, it makes the question invalid.
