Best music video u've seen?

I'm curious to know which is the best video u've seen in the last two years... And which artist or artists do u feel make the best videos. (not necessarily special effects).
I think the following artists (yes, giving credit to directors, producers, etc...) have some of the best videos..
Madonna
Bjork
George Michael
Linkin Park
No Doubt
RHCP
Kylie Minogue
India.Arie
Robbie Williams
Prince(of course)
...as far as best video in the last 2 yrs..hmmm..I'll get back to you on that one...hrmph

TRON

I agree, bjork is the greatest video artist ever. Her videos are the trippiest, most beautiful visuals I've ever seen on film. Her videos don't get played much so for those of you who haven't seen them, I suggest picking up the Volumen 2 DVD in December.

Some of her best are:

Human Behaviour
Big Time Sensuality
Army of Me
Isobel
Hyperballad
Possibly Maybe
Bachelorette
Alarm Call
All Is Full of Love
Pagan Poetry

Can't wait to see her new one as well.

And for as much as people rag on Prince's videos, those cheap, old performance clips are classics! Don't front. You know you love 'Sexuality' and 'Automatic'.

Anyway, as for my single favorite video I'd have to say Bowie's 'Be My Wife'. It's so simple but effective. Just him and a guitar in a room. The range of emotion that he covers in this short video is startling. His guitar solo at the end breaks my heart every time. Even though it's from 1977, it reminds me of the glory days of Post Modern MTV. Very fresh. Just perfect.

What the...!
Bjork releasing Volumen 2,
as far as i was aware she's only made 5 vids since the 1st compilation,

Alarm Call
All Is Full Of Love
Hidden Place
Pagan Poetry and
Cacoon.

Could be pretty brief.

All the Jackson videos mentioned thus far are cool,
an underrated gem (i think) is In The Closet.
Michael's dancing in that is superb.

And yeah, Prince makes duff videos,
Kiss and Sexy M.F. are cool tho'.

That one by the White Stripes is brilliant. The one where the man comes back to his house, it's a mess, his girlfriend is gone, etc. But as he goes into each room, the "past" is super-imposed over the "present" time. VERY COOL!!

Agreed about In The Closet, and a much underrated MJ classic song and video, Who Is It (David Fincher version).

There's the cliché of saying 'Take On Me' by A-ha, but I truly do love it.

I LOVE 'Sexy M.F.', but I always felt that 'Gett Off' and 'Gold' were often ignored. They're not the best of the best or anything, but visually better than most Prince videos.

Don't forget most Weird Al Yankovic videos either biggrin 'Fat' and 'One More Minute' are my personal favs.

Even though im not that big on them. The Chemical Brothers make fascinating videos. Let Forever Be was just amazing and Electrobank? was pretty darn neat too.

Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground, the first time i saw that i was like WOW! Incredible video, the best i've seen for a while. I do like the new No Doubt video also, simply for the fact Gwen Stefani looks so beautiful.

I like (don't say that these are the best), & not only for nostalgic reasons, "Drive" by The Cars (the model in this video later became Rick Ocasek's wife)
- Morrissey: "Every day is like Sunday"
- Prince, Wendy & Lisa "4the tears in your eyes"
- Bjork "It's oh so quiet"
- Depeche mode "Enjoy the Silence"
- a Beck's one, I forgot the title...
- some Public Enemy when they were at their peak, some A Tribe Called Quest like "Penita Applebum" ( I like their humour) etc etc
