I would like to say to everyone that I am not trying to make this racial I started this thread because of all of the Madonna threads that has been created lately.

The simple fact is the MAJORITY of Black people just do not regard Madonna highly like a lot of you people. I like some of her songs "Get Into The Groove" but other than that she is overrated I belong to other boards that are geared toward African-Americans and we do not discuss artists like Madonna she simply does not have that type of appeal in our circle.

davideye I grew up in the south bronx. I don't think that you can get more ethnic then that, and there were not many brothers running around talking about how madonna was or is the shit. they were and are more in love with janet jackson. No matter what you say. you are in the minority in the black community if you say that madonna is is finer then janet. janet is the the madonna for the black community. we mostly leave her to the white community, and you must be crazy if you are going to deny janet her beauty in favor for madonna because it is just not happening. and davideye I thought that I remember you saying that you were white.
