Top 15 movie soundtracks of all time

Going through my music collection of records (LPs), cassettes, and CDs, I noticed I got a nice collection of movie soundtracks. I must have a weakness for a movie that I liked and go buy the album. My collection includes faves that practically everyone owns that I know like: The Bodyguard, Purple Rain, and Waiting To Exhale. Also have some that slips under the radar like: Panther, Mo' Better Blues, and The Best Man. Some I haven't listened to in a long time and others I hear constantly. But no matter what I don't regret buying any of them. So here's my homage to the top 15 (in my opinion) movie soundtracks of all time. And they are:
1. Purple Rain
2. Waiting To Exhale
3. Boomerang
4. Saturday Night Fever
5. The Bodyguard
6. Friday
7. That's The Way Of The World
8. Footloose
9. Batman
10. Dreamgirls
11. Parade (Under the Cherry Moon)
12. Romeo Must Die
13. New Jack City
14. Above The Rim
15. Mo' Better Blues
Peace and be wild!

That's the thing that first caught my attention... disbelief
I like the fact, though, that you have included 'Romeo Must Die'. The score was written by Stanley Clarke cool

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

how can you say DREAM GIRLS ... that was not a great soundtrack IMO... just because beyonce's boring song listen was on there....

she was basically one dimensional in that movie.. and her character was boring... i still to this day do not understand how she was nominated

I forgot about Superfly, which I own, so I would add this as a tie with Parade.
