Timbaland Sued Again !!! Jay-Z and Timbaland have been hit with a lawsuit over their smash worldwide hit “Big Pimpin”. According to published reports Timbaland illegally replayed portions of "Big Pimpin" note-for-note, using a melody lifted from the song "Khosara, Khosara" which was written by composer Baligh Hamdi and performed by Egyptian star Abdel-Halim Hafez in 1957.

I dont see why its so hard to Credit the artist that you sampled from Credit the artist, Pay them (the same way you're getting paid) and none of this shit would happen. Wasnt timbaland paying attention when De La Soul went through this back in the day? Does he think that nobody's gonna notice a note for frickin note lift of their song? wtf, man...wtf. A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE. | |
