In those days,Prince had a MAJOR attitude problem. He walked around like a prima donna, thinking he was God's gift to the world.I remember in 1981,he was introduced to Stephanie Mills (who was a big fan),she complimented him on his music and he didn't say a single word.I've heard similar stories concerning other celebrities he met.Of course, many of his own proteges had problems with him,as well.So I'm not gonna be so quick to dismiss Rick's comments. We all know that Prince isn't always the nicest person to be around. Leave him alone ya'll,,,,he's painfully shy! If I hear that excuse one more time.....

Andre Cymone said Rick pulled a fake prop gun on him. They both had attitudes. Beside Stephanie Mills covered How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore. So I doubt she was pissed off.

Rick sounds and looks like a creamed bumhole to be around.
And he comes nowhere near P. on talent and success. I'd love to read the book though. small circles, big wheels!
I've got a pretty firm grip on the obvious!

That's what I always loved about Prince. He was an absolute bitch that thought he was better than everyone else. That's the way I love my stars to be instead of the dull, boring, down the earth "I'm just like you" kind of stars. If they are just like everyone else, they don't deserve to be stars in the first place (hint: shit hoppers). Rick James was an asshole too and I loved him for it also. His favorite line was "Don't you know who I am? I'm motherfuckin' Rick James" letting people know that he thought he was better than other people also. Hell, I, myself, carry myself with those same attitudes. When someone says something shitty about me, I think...."What do I care? This motherfucker is trash and beneath me anyway". Andy is a four letter word.
