You aren't missing much. It has been remastered twice and bonus trax were added the last time. The bonus trax include the remix of "No Parking On The Dance Floor" that was on the Club Epic dance collection and a remix of "Freak-A-Zoid" that was on the "Anniversary Collection" that came out in the 90s.

I love this album. It is one of my top favorites of the 80s. "Playmates" and "Night Rider" are my favorite trax, but every song is sheer perfection.

Oh, hell. When I heard bonus tracks, I was going to be racing David to the record store but I already have those two bonus tracks on the two compilations you mentioned.

Unlike the Michael Jackson fans, I'm not going to keep buying the same versions over and over. lol Some Midnight Star music videos would be nice as a bonus. They could do it like Jamiroquai's "Dynamite" album (CD on one side, DVD on the other side).

I can't stand that "Freak-A-Zoid" remix barf It's really, really terrible. And since I already have the "No Parking On The Dancefloor" extended remix (from Club Epic),I guess there's no point in buying this remaster after all.

Go to Legacyrecordings.com and mention that (about Jamiroquai) and they usually try to reissue what people request. I have requested several cds be reissued and they have eventually done it. I'm still waiting on the Luther remasters and more Isley issues, but I have gotten good response.

I love the Planetary Invasion cd also. It is my 2nd favorite cd from them. I also like their self-titled cd from 87.

The Calloway brothers were some bad MFs. I also loved the stuff they did with Levert, Teddy Pendergrass and Gladys Knight.

Imagine if the Calloway brothers and Babyface did an album together (writing and producing).

I've got "Planetary Invasion" and, like Daprettyman said, it's my second favorite album also with my first being "No Parking On The Dance Floor". My third favorite album is their 1988 album with the song "Snake In The Grass" on it.

The headlines album was weak. I agree with the orgers that list no parking, planetary invasion, and their self titled album as the top three.

Yeah, you definately got to add "Body Snatchers". That one was great, especially the 12 Inch. The title track, "Planetary Invasion" was good too.

I agree,'Headlines' wasn't one of their better albums.I've always disliked the hip-hop styled title track, and "The Midas Touch" sounds too much like "Wet My Whistle".I do like "Engine No.9" though.

Intersting, I didn't like the Headlines album either, but I do love Midas Touch. I agree it does sound like Wet My Whistle and Curious, but I think they designed it that way. It's kind of like what the Commodores used to do, they always had a Lionel ballad at the end of both sides (which turned out to be most of their bigger hits). I think Midnight Star was trying to update the formula that had worked for "No Parking" on this album, just with an "updated" sound.
