Music Critic Calls Mariah's album THE BEST OF 2007 Not sure if you all know who Roger Friedman is. He's like the Roger Ebert of the music industry and he works for Fox News. He said, on a show tonight, that he listened to the new Mariah Carey album that is almost finished. He says it's the best album of 2007 and it's going to win a lot of awards!
Bad news for Madonna and JLo fans though. He says their new projects are about to crumble.

Huh?! I haven't heard anything from her new album, but I think this album is going to have far more hip hop inspired stuff. I mean she is going to work with TI, Akon, will.i.am, and Cool and Dre on this album. Sounds like this is going to be a major disappointment. [Edited 8/29/07 20:46pm] Check me out and add me on:

Nice try. More like the Perez Hilton of the music industry - talking out of his ass. Nobody takes him seriously.

Just look back over the crap that Friedman has posted about MJ the last few years!! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. There are emails circulating of Roger and Mariah's manager. Roger says he'll write a great review of a Mariah show even though he was not going to be able to attend.

Roger Friedman is only like Roger Ebert because they both have cancer....excuse me...I mean Roger Friedman is cancer. He would need credibility for it to be zero! He is constantly lying, bullshiting, spinning....you name it!

Mariah said in her interview with INTERVIEW magazine that the album was basically done but not really, the release is set for November but she said if she isnt ready then it wont come out then. So im doubting what he heard from this album, judgin from her feel of it, she said that people who have heard some tracks have said its a very "Female Empowering" very upbeat, leaning towards Rb obviuosly but club too. Hopefully its true because she really needs to get more club and let the Rb side take a back seat "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
