September 27th is the planned street date for the new album to drop. Let's hope it happens... that way MikeMatronik will have someone new to *hate* besides Madonna. Right haters?

I'm looking forward to checking this album out, sheerly because Calvin Harris is working on it. I want to see which of his tracks make the cut.

I was flipping through the latest NME @ a record store a couple weeks ago and read that Hot Chip was enlisted in the preliminary stages of this album. They played an exclusive song from their upcoming album @ a gig in London last month and they prefaced it by saying to the audience, "We were about to offer this track to Kylie, but she turned it down..."

The song was "Ready For The Floor." Apparently, it's a banger. I heard it's a very electropop/peak-hour type track. Won't be on the Kylie album -- will be on the next Hot Chip LP -- but, still, it's a nice little nugget of background info I thought I'd share with the Kylie fams.

I don't think any of this info is confirmed yet. "Lose Control" leaked months ago, along with 4 other tracks. Kylie X has been the working title and also has not been confirmed. Also, September 27th is way too early at this point, with no promotion having started yet.

The current rumors are as follows:

The first single is rumored to be called "Two Hearts". It may or may not involve Phil Collins' song of the same name. I personally hope not!

The new album will likely be released around late November, with the lead single released in October.

There are also plans to release a documentary called White Diamond about the Showgirl Homecoming Tour, as well as a DVD of the tour itself.

Those songs came from a 49 track sampler disc set that a few Kylie fans have.

I'm not sure about the names. Calvin produced 6 tracks with Kylie, and I think 2 made the shortlist for inclusion on the album.

I'm looking forward to this one and hope the US date is closer than usual (seems like with the last two, wasn't the wait something like 6 months after?..might have been the same when she released "Ultimate Kylie" as well, right?) if not the same week!

As far as I know, there's no release date for the album...nor is it called "Kylie X".

There's a fan made sampler with 5 ou 6 leaked demos from that 49 tracks disc set that someone called "Kylie X".

Just like Vinny said above, it's really soon for a release of an album. It will be released in November...
