hey, what do you think of her 1985 single "Read My Lips"? It was rock/pop....a departure from the R&B stuff that she had been doing.Did you like it?

I noticed that in the 80s,many R&B female singers were venturing into rock (a little): "Another Night" by Aretha Franklin (1985) "Read My Lips" by Melba Moore (1985) "The Beast In Me" by Bonnie Pointer (1985) thoughts?

I can`t remember the song, but maybe it was Anita The voice wasn`t deep at all. btw, was it June Pointer who released a (self-titled) solo album in the late 80s, early 90s?
