Barbra Streisand: Live at Madison Square Garden

Just kidding.

I had a friend who was in love with this album, and played it all the time. Good God.... I mention it in warning to those who might come across it one day.

I take it you're not a Barbra fan. biggrin

biggrin LOVE that album! I especially like her rendition of "All Night Long" and "Tyrone". The live version of that song is so much better than the album version IMO.

I especially love it when she lets her backup singers riff and N'Dambi just blows everyone away with her riff!

i don't think so, because i believe there is an art to mastering/editing/mixing a live recording to make it a worthwhile piece of music to play at home. i'd much rather listen to "stop making sense" or "stage" than some skanky audience bootleg or even one of those authorized live CD-Rs you can get after a show. i like when a live album sounds like an ALBUM. nod
