The song is for the soundtrack of the mid-1980s movie "Perfect" -- that's why John Travolta and Jamie Lee Curtis are in the clip. Think of the song "Physical" made into a movie.

THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

Have you ever seen the movie Perfect with Jamie Lee Curris and John Travolta?
Well this song is from the soundtrack of that movie. THAT'S why John Travolta is in the video. It's about a reporter who does an expose of a fitness club--that's why the video is set in a gym.

Just letting you know. I'm not that old, I was born three years before the movie was made so yeah.

Anyway I figured you were young because you said the 80s was corny and cheesy. I wasn't trying to be rude, but you made that video sound like it was the craziest thing you've ever seen. confused

I'm sorry, but I can't watch Jermaine's videos lol
His jheri curl in 1985-1987 was terrible. It didn't swing or nuthin'! lol

It's rather frightening you said you may not have been born when this song came out -- I was nearly finished with high school when this song came out.

Here is a more palatable video of jheri-curl Jermaine, this one with his brothers:

I felt Jermaine Jackson made some better songs than those:

* "Let's Get Serious"
* "You Like Me Don't You"
* "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy" (my favorite song)
* "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin'" (a duet with Michael Jackson)
* "Do What You Do"
* "Don't Take It Personal"

You Like Me Don't You is one of his greatest jams.

I would say all six of those songs I named are generally considered among Jermaine Jackson's signature songs. "You Like Me Don't Do" is a great mellow song that is my second-favorite song by him.
