Sep.9 - Sheila E. & Five Star

Aw hell! Now they're getting into the late 80s. They need to turn around and go back to the 70s.

I really think Don, or someone affiliated with the show, is reading our posts here at the org. Just look at all the Prince groups they have aired since they've started doing the "Best Of" shows.....The Time, Vanity 6, and now Sheila E.

Don, don't you dare air that Prince episode from 1994. Don't do it. It ain't like he was performing something strong like "Let's Work" or anything and I've also already got that episode on tape. Also, all the rest of the songs from the episode from the other artists sucked. I recorded the Prince parts only.

Don't even take a small glimpse toward the 1990s and get the hell out of the late 80s. And Don, if you're reading.....play that damn Rick James tribute episode! lol

Oh, how I love to shit on that woman. lol They did have the nerve to play one of her songs for the line dance though. I absolutely hate sports and am no good at them whatsoever. However, when that song came on, I pulled the DVD out of the recorder and slam dunked it in the trash. lol

Careful, she might try to smoke it in her crack pipe! lol

I wonder if this is the episode where Sheena will be doing "Sugar Walls". hmmm

She performed on Soul Train twice in 1985,so that's a good question....

Sheena Easton/Mary Jane Girls (originally aired April 13,1985)

Sheena Easton/Bernard Wright (originally aired December 7,1985)

hmmm

Another late 80s episode. mad

Sounds like 1986 since Juicy was on the episode. The groups that will be performing had decent songs out that year. I'm just worrying about what songs will be played for the dancers. Things became a lot more "poppish" that year after a certain little goodie two shoes made her splash the year before. lol

Or the early 80s funk era. There's still a lot of great acts to be shown such as The Barkays, Skyy, Slave, The Gap Band, O'Bryan, etc.

Teena Marie ("Lovergirl") and Whodini ("Friends").

Those seem "decent". I hope the songs for the dancers are good.

The first episode must be from late 1983.I remember Klique!

The second episode is from 1984.I always like to see a Teena Marie performance,no matter what year it's from lol

I remember Klique as well. They were great! I always thought the leader of the group was oh, so handsome!

Or Dick Anthony Williams? I hope this isn't another late 80s episode.

If you notice it is set for September 23. Remember when they were planning new episodes for September? Well, September 23 is damn near the end of the month and no new episodes yet. Looks like a good sign to me. lol

Vain I think Don will keep playing these until next year. It looks like he'll be showing episodes from the early 90's, this Sept. 30 show was from 1987, I remember that one

Oh, hell, I hope not. That's when I'll stop watching them.

Everyone.....when they start showing 90s episodes, turn your TVs OFF, start bitching like hell, and make the ratings go down! We'll force them to take the shows back to the 70s and 80s or take the show off the air altogether. lol

Another late 80s episode (yawn). Aside from Vanity, this looks like the worst one yet. This one looks so bad, I may just record Vanity's performance only.

I'm looking forward to that one. Bleh at the Oct. 7 episode... This could be a 1973 episode because "Pillow Talk" took off in '73 and the Moments were HOT with "Sexy Mama" from that year.

When I saw the names Sylvia and The Moments, I was hoping it was a 70s episodes. I didn't want to get my hopes up though because I've never heard of Ectasy, Passion, & Pain so I was afraid they might be a late 80s group and maybe Sylvia and The Moments might have had an unsuccesful song in the late 80s.....remember Rose Royce last week? lol

It's about time Don. Now, bring some Barkays on.
