I'm looking forward to watching it because I've been waiting to see Janet be in a movie for years. Is she the best actress? Far from it, but I'm always interested in whatever she does, so I just may like the film. The plot looks good anyways, I hope it does well. | |

I like that she's a part of an ensemble cast. That may give her a bit more to work with and also may add to her not standing out as Janet. I prefer it over her and Eddie Murphy x 10. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

please don't be offended, but I really don't like how janet looks without long hair aka a weave. The tiny hairpieces she puts on them just looks so odd on HER and doesn't really enhance her features. I wish she had a nice style like the others, because she looks so blah compared to them in terms of how she wears her hair and dresses. I'm beginning to think latoya jackson would have carried it off better. | |

but if she had all the hair it would be harder for folks to differentiate the character and the entertainer....she's made it a habit of non-glaming her hair for her film rolls. i actually think its smart on her part...besides, who is she portraying? would the character require a weaved out do or is she supposed to be conservative? i don't hold judgment on an actor's choice of looks until i've seen the performance. People are used to her with an over-the-top of everything as opposed to the 'regular' look. So I understand. It is refreshing to see her tune it down for a change,,,it makes her acting delivery more believable I guess. | |
